Bryant-Denny decibel record broken during win over LSU

Nick Saban has gone out of his way this season to both ask the fans at Bryant-Denny Stadium to provide noise and energy as well as thanking the fans when they do just that. On his coach’s show last week, before the Tennessee game, he made it a point to tell fans that they create the momentum for the players and asked them to do just that:

Alabama fans responded last week with an environment so loud that Nick Saban stopped before heading into the locker room and turned around to personally thank the crowd:

Going up against the nation’s #1 offense, Alabama fans knew they would have to bring their energy once again on Saturday night under the lights. The Crimson Tide faithful did just that, setting a new decibel record of 113.1 during Terrion Arnold’s fourth-quarter interception, which gave Alabama firm control.

It was the SEC home finale for the Crimson Tide and the biggest game of the year, and the fans did not disappoint.

After the game, Coach Saban said, “The atmosphere in the stadium the last two games, I don’t think you could ask for more.”

In two weeks, Alabama will host UT Chattanooga in their final home game before heading to Auburn for the Iron Bowl.
