Those who know Bradley Byrne best know one thing for sure: he will always fight for what he believes in.
A lifelong Alabamian who was born and raised in Mobile, Bradley is committed to making Alabama a better place to live, work, and raise a family. From supporting pro-life polices to pushing to secure our borders to fighting for a stronger military, Bradley is committed to the policies and values that define the people of Alabama.
Just look at his time as chancellor of Alabama’s two-year college system. Bradley inherited a mess full of inefficiencies, waste, and corruption. Bradley rose to the challenge, cleaned up the corruption, eliminated waste, increased accountability, and helped build workforce training programs that have powered Alabama’s economic climb.
In Congress, Bradley has established himself as an effective conservative who gets results for Alabama. For example, Bradley has led the charge to get a new I-10 bridge built over the Mobile River, a project that is critically for the area’s economy and a major safety concern for local residents. He also has supported the coastal economy by pushing the federal government for a longer Red Snapper season for Alabama fishermen.
Most recently, Bradley has made cracking down on illegal immigration a top priority. He introduced the 50 Votes for the Wall Act, which would make it easier to fund President Trump’s border wall and overcome the inevitable filibuster by Senate Democrats. Bradley has also voted to defund sanctuary cities and close loopholes in our broken immigration system.
A strong supporter of our military and veterans, Bradley has used his position on the Armed Services Committee to support Alabama’s numerous military installations and defense-related jobs. Notably, Bradley has worked to increase our naval fleet to 355 ships, which means a stronger Navy and continued work for the Austal shipyard in Mobile.
For our veterans, Bradley supports expanding the Veterans Choice Card program to allow veterans to receive medical care from doctors and hospitals in their local community instead of being forced into the broken VA bureaucracy. He has helped countless veterans from Southwest Alabama receive the VA benefits and care they deserve.
Critically important to rural Alabama, Bradley is leading the Alabama delegation in pushing to save our state’s rural hospitals. Through his work with the Trump Administration, Bradley is pushing for changes to the Medicare Wage Index, which would allow more money to flow to Alabama’s hospitals.
As you can see, Bradley will never back away from a fight when it comes to Alabama and the things that matter most.
So, join your fellow Alabamians in supporting Bradley and his fellow Republicans on November 6th, and let’s keep the fight alive.
