Charles Clarence Stacey, 87, and Mary Lue Daw, 66, were arrested in Atmore after the two allegedly forced Daw’s 13-year-old granddaughter to engage in sexual acts with them.
The incident occurred after Daw invited her granddaughter over to her home with the plan of setting up a sexual encounter. According to police, Stacey threatened the 13-year-old with physical violence if she “did not participate in sexual servitude.”
Records also indicate that Stacey and Daw both engaged in sexual acts with the young girl.
Stacey is charged with first-degree rape, first-degree human trafficking, promoting prostitution, and enticing a child.
Daw is charged with human trafficking and first-degree rape.
Both are currently being held in Escambia County Jail for the crimes, and a judge set both bonds at 1 million dollars. Should either of them make bail they are prohibited from contacting the victim or her family, and cannot have contact with anyone under the age of 18.
