7 Things: Trump could bail on all debates; Tuberville digs in as attacks ramp up; and more …

7. Politico is reporting that Hunter Biden’s attorneys threatened to put President Joe Biden on the stand and argued that bringing an actual case against the crackhead son of the President would bring down the reputation of the DOJ, saying, “This of all cases justifies neither the spectacle of a sitting President testifying at a criminal trial nor the potential for a resulting Constitutional crisis.”

6. The media and their Democrats are absolutely giddy over the idea that former President Donald Trump might turn himself in this week to be incarcerated in a “really dirty, dangerous, scary” jail.

5. Former President Donald Trump has the largest lead he has ever had in the 2024 GOP presidential primary and shows no sign of slowing down with each indictment only seeing that lead grow. The same poll shows Trump supporters trust him more than their friends and family, which is just hilarious.

4. Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall says he will continue supporting states that wish to end the “experimental and life-altering sex-modification procedures for children” of minors and filed a multistate brief defending Missouri’s gender “transitioning” law.

3. Alabama State Rep. Andy Whitt (R-Harvest) seems to be the tip of the spear on new gambling legislation but one lawmaker, State Sen. Sam Givhan (R-Huntsville), says the votes are just not there for any type of wide-ranging legislation to allow casinos or expanded gambling.

2. U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) is now mocking U.S. Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) who was attempting to shame him for holding up military promotions telling him “good luck” on X and adding on a podcast, “I don’t care if they promote anybody.” This is upsetting a lot of people, including former U.S. Sen. Doug Jones (D-Mountain Brook) who is trying to get relevant.

1. Former President Donald Trump is officially out of the GOP debates according to screenshots on X of his Truth Social posts. Meanwhile, Republicans, including former U.S. Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Huntsville) and U.S. Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) are suggesting Trump should drop out altogether which will NEVER happen.
