7 Things: Biden uses Israel issues to lobby for Ukraine $$$; Tuberville wants Hamas fans out; and more …

7. Looks like Carlee Russell could be getting her restitution costs covered by The Daily Wire’s Candance Owens. Owens said on her podcast, “I will pay the $18,000 fine if you sit down with me and give me a one-on-one on where you were for the 48 hours. I mean that. Take it to the bank, Carlee Russell.”

6. Birmingham-Southern College is looking to force the state of Alabama to give them a $30 billion loan, Treasurer Young Boozer has been sued by the school for denying that loan. On their first day in court, the judge doubted that he had the ability to force Boozer to issue the loan.

5. Out-of-state Democratic groups have selected transgender candidate Sylvia Swain as their potential first-elected transgender candidate in Alabama and supporters of her opponent are pointing it out. Now the LGBTQ+ Victory Fund is calling those ads “transphobic” and “illegal.”

4. The fight to “Clean Up Alabama” libraries continues and the opponents, the people who insist on all sorts of inappropriate books being available for children, continue to push lawmakers to oppose them. “Read Freely Alabama” member Angie Hayden confronted State Rep. Susan DuBose (R-Hoover) over the issue and all she accomplished was getting DuBose to state that she is “on the same page” with Gov. Kay Ivey, who wants to create new rules for libraries.

3. Calls for deportation of groups of foreign nationals supporting the terror group Hamas are gaining steam but Democrats in the U.S. Senate blocked a bill by Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) that would revoke visas of Hamas sympathizers. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) supports this idea, “Hamas is a terrorist group. Under the law, anyone who supports them should not be admitted into this country. That most certainly includes any students here on visas who are out protesting right now. If foreign nationals in our country support Hamas, then they should get the hell out and go to Gaza.”

2. The Republicans in the U.S. House can not lead, U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) had decided he would not push for another vote to become Speaker of the House and would throw his support behind temporary Speaker. The move to give more power to McHenry failed and Henry made a threat to resign if that was not granted.

1. President Joe Biden was expected to give a speech about Israel last night, it turned into a request for 6 times the money ($60 billion) for Ukraine and a lecture on Islamaphobia, $14 billion for the border, $100 million for the Palestinians (that he swears Hamas has said they won’t steal). He had a chance to lead, and warn Iran off, but he did not.
