‘Most radically liberal ticket in American history’: Alabama officials react to Harris naming Walz as running mate

Kamala Harris’ selection of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate in the 2024 U.S. presidential election is drawing fierce criticism over his recent policy positions, just hours after the news was announced.

Walz is being particularly condemned by conservative leaders for the extremely-progressive policies in his state and a memorable failure to mitigate danger in the George Floyd riots that ripped through Minnesota in 2020. He signed legislation into law that made Minnesota a ‘Trans Refuge State‘ to allow children regardless of their age to undergo gender transition procedures without their parent’s approval or knowledge, even if they travel across state lines.

Also in 2023, Walz signed a bill into law enshrining limitless abortion, regardless of how far along the woman is in her pregnancy. Additionally, the Governor was a vocal supporter of the COVID-19 vaccines and the lockdowns that shut down schools nationwide.

U.S. Senator Katie Britt (R-Montgomery) labeled Harris and Walz as the “most radically liberal ticket in American history,” directing to a video in which Walz states, “one person’s socialism is another person’s neighborliness.”

U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) said that Harris and Walz are an appropriate duo, given their support for rioters during the George Floyd protests in Minneapolis.

U.S. Rep. Robert Aderholt (R-Haleyville) said that Harris was not “comfortable” with the more moderate options for vice president, which signals how extreme her administration intends to be.

Walz, according to U.S. Rep. Gary Palmer (R-Hoover), is a “self-proclaimed socialist.”

U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Saks) called attention to Walz’s failed record as governor.

Walz recently told CNN’s Anderson Cooper that he would “invest in a ladder factory” to help illegals over the border wall. The radical liberal opened the taxpayer-funded “Office of New Americans” which had the responsibility of supporting immigrant and refugee resettlement in Minnesota.
