The Mobile Fire-Rescue Department units helped to rescue a window washer who was seen dangling from downtown Mobile’s RSA Tower on Monday afternoon.

“The call originated with the worker, who advised his descender was stuck. Units arrived on scene to find the worker suspended on a rope, near the 35th floor on the west side of the building,” MFRD told WKRG.

Around 1:15 P.M. CST, WKRG reported that the person was believed to be a window washer and that a rescue operation was underway after someone spotted him.

At 1:45 P.M. CST, an update was published that the worker had been successfully rescued by MRFD and technical rescue units.
