Meadows drops new ad in HD74 race, vows to cut through ‘political games’

Charlotte Meadows, one of three Republican contenders vying for the Alabama House seat recently vacated by Jay Love, just released a new television ad titled “Real Solutions” in which she vows to cut through the “political games” and get right down to business.

Alabama is facing serious challenges. Our budgets are stretched thin. Our education system needs reform. And here in the capital city, crime is a problem. I’m tired of political games, I’m interested in real solutions. I’ll fight wasteful spending to save taxpayer money, make sure law enforcement officers have the tools they need to keep our city safe, improve education policies and give our teachers the resources they need. I’m Charlotte Meadows and I’ll fight for Montgomery’s families.

Meadows is a former Montgomery County Board of Education President and most recently has been Alabama’s state outreach director for StudentsFirst, a national education reform organization.

Other contenders for the HD74 seat include Montgomery County Board of Education member Heather Sellers and restaurant owner Dimitri Polizos.

The HD74 Special Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, October 8.
