Looking for love online? Alabamians should use this word in their profiles

Dating Map
The website Mashable teamed up with the researchers at Match.com to create a map of the most frequently used words in online dating profiles in all fifty states.

Mashable asked Match.com to analyze thousands of online dating profiles from the U.S., and to offer insight into the habits and interests of daters in each state. Essentially, they broke down which words are used with relative frequency in certain states, as compared to relative infrequency in the rest of the country. For example, Texas loves its “oil,” New York loves a stimulating visit to the “museum,” and Mississippi loves “lookin.”

But here in Alabama, online daters seem to be keen on one specific activity: grilling. So while you’re crafting your next dating profile, be sure to mention your grilling skills, if you have them. If you don’t, you might want to brush up before tailgating season.
