Comedian and former Miss. St. football player describing his first Crimson Tide experience

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The Crimson Tide may have punished the LSU Tigers Saturday, but after 24 hours of celebration it’s back to practice Monday for Alabama to prepare for a tough matchup against the Mississippi State Bulldogs in Starkville.

The yearly matchup, which has in recent years become an increasingly competitive game, brings to mind the late comedian and former Mississippi State football player Jerry Clower’s hilarious rendition of when he once suited up against Bama.

The Alabama Crimson Tide will take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs Saturday at 2:30 p.m. CT in Davis Wade Stadium.
