According to a report issued this morning from Brett McMurphy, we now know the kickoff time for Bama’s game and that of other first-week matchups. The contest begins at 3:30 p.m. EST on Saturday, August 30 (2:30 p.m. CST) on ABC.

Many were hoping for a night game given the magnitude of the two programs facing off and also the recent renovations made at Doak Campbell Stadium; however, things did not shake out that way. Instead, the Tide gets the challenge of heading even further South and playing during the heat of the day in late August.
