First lady Jill Biden, Ed.D, has rescheduled her visit to Alabama for this Friday, April 9.

She was originally scheduled to make a trip to the Jasper Area Family Service Center and the YMCA of Central Alabama in Birmingham in recent weeks when severe weather caused her to cancel those plans.

It is unclear if the locations for her new visit will be the same, as further details have not yet been announced by her office.

Hollywood actress Jennifer Garner is still expected to accompany the first lady.

Biden and Garner were scheduled to stump for the recently enacted $1.9 trillion Democratic spending bill.
