The person who set off a bomb outside the Alabama Attorney General’s office last month remains at large and the governor’s office has issued a reward for their arrest.
Gov. Kay Ivey office announced Tuesday her office posted a $5,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the bomber.
Just before 3:45 a.m. on Feb. 24, the bomb exploded outside Attorney General Steve Marshall’s office in downtown Montgomery. Since that time, law enforcement, including the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency and FBI, have been trying to apprehend the suspect or suspects responsible.

“In the early hours of Saturday, February 24, an explosive device was detonated outside of the Alabama Attorney General’s Office building in Montgomery,” Marshall said in a news statement. “Thankfully, no staff or personnel were injured by the explosion. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency will be leading the investigation, and we are urging anyone with information to contact them immediately.”
