Introducing: Local Leader 20

Earlier this year, Yellowhammer released our inaugural “Power & Influence 40,” a list of the 40 most powerful and influential people in Alabama politics. We also released a list of 8 “Power & Influence Up and Comers.” This list included 8 individuals who Yellowhammer believes could be the next generation of leaders for the state.

We now believe it’s time to shed some light on Alabama’s local leadership.

Next week, we will release our “Local Leader 20.” This list will include 20 of our state’s local and business leaders with the brightest political future. From mayors and city councilmen to businessmen and county commissioners — this list will give Yellowhammer readers a sense of how deep Alabama’s political “bench” is.

And we want your help.

Do you know a local or business leader who deserves to be featured on Yellowhammer’s “Local Leader 20”? Send your submissions here. Include their name, current position, and a short synopsis of why you feel they should be recognized.
