Infinity Insurance to bring 500 jobs to downtown Birmingham

Birmingham, Ala. — According to city officials, Birmingham-based insurance company Infinity Property and Casualty Corporation is moving 500 jobs to downtown Birmingham.

The new operations will be located in the former Birmingham News building on 22nd Street North and 4th Avenue North. The company is currently located on Colonnade Parkway off of Highway 280. The building was listed for $21.4 million.

According to the company’s website, Infinity has operations in 44 states, and employs 2,400 people.

“For more than 50 years, Infinity Auto Insurance has done justice to its name, searching for every possible way to offer the best service,” the website says. “We continually seek to take care of you at every step of the way. From our very first client in Alabama in 1955, we took a stand for the insured, making service our first priority.”
