An event designed to help startups within the AgTech industry is set to take place Thursday at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center.

The AgTech Investment Accelerator Showcase will feature five startup companies – Terra Bioforge, Khepra, OmniVis, SAVRpak, and Bloom Labs. Each company will present its work to attendees, who can attend the event free of charge because of the Showcase’s sponsorship of Biergarten.

The initiative is the product of a partnership between HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology and Huntsville start-up accelerator gener8tor.

The businesses in the showcase are part of a 12-week accelerator program which invests $100,000 in the startups. They will also receive comprehensive and individualized coaching along with access to gener8tor’s national network of mentors, customers, corporate partners and investors in order to help them secure customers, accelerate their revenue growth, and attract additional funding.

Sponsors of the HudsonAlpha AgTech Accelerator include Breland Homes, Fuqua & Partners, Keel Point, Pearce Construction, Regions Bank, Synovus, and individual contributors.

The showcase will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Saturn V Hall at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center (Davidson Center, 1 Tranquility Base, Huntsville, AL 35805).
