When Courtney and Nick Smith tied the knot last weekend at Alabama’s Historic Rucker Place in Birmingham, they knew they’d have lots of Courtney’s fellow former Crimsonettes on hand to pump up the Roll Tide spirit, but they didn’t realize a video taken by Leah Rawlinson of the ladies twirling to the University of Alabama’s familiar fight song, and Nick’s retaliation, would quickly go viral.

Nick, a former Drum Major at Auburn University, had a response planned for Courtney’s “Yea, Alabama”… a rendition of “Glory, Glory To Old Auburn,” (played to the tune of Battle Hymn of the Republic) which the Tigers’ band plays after extra points.

“It is great and I had no idea he was going to play,” Courtney told Yellowhammer News Monday morning. “I was shocked!”

P.S. Only 89 days until college football is back.
