Hoover Day celebrated with food, fun and family on Saturday

The City of Hoover will hold its16th annual Celebrate Hoover Day on Saturday, April 27,
2024 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Veterans Park. The address is 4800 Valleydale
Road.

This is the 16th year for the beloved family friendly event that is free and open to all
ages. Saturday’s event will include:

• A giant 10-foot apple pie served with ice cream
• Live music from More Cow Bell
• Food trucks
• Carnival rides, inflatables, and Euro Bungee
• Petting zoo
• Pony rides
• Hoover Police and Fire Apparatus
• Large vendor tent where local businesses will be handing out goodies

As in years past, attendees will also be able to participate in shredding services. United
Ability’s Gone for Good organization will provide those services. They will be located in
the parking lot of Spain Park High School, just north of Veterans Park.
