Hilarious new ad shows what it would be like to go dress shopping with Saban

Nick Saban and personal money management — humor is hardly the first thing that comes to mind with either one.

But in a new television ad released by the Birmingham-based Regions Bank over the weekend, the notoriously intense Saban somehow manages to actually make banking funny.

In the ad, the Alabama coach successfully talks a college student out of buying a $750 dress that he says she’ll “probably wear two, three times, tops” and “will be out of style by next week.”

The ad touts Regions as the official bank of the SEC and highlights that the institution offers money management advice to their customers to help them “make the best decisions when it comes to their finances.”

The ad is not the first time Saban has shown off his sense of humor. In an interview with ESPN’s Colin Cowherd earlier this year (below), he also donned a Luigi hat, discussed being afraid of Santa Clause and admitted that he first started playing sports just to keep from having to take accordion lessons.
