Here’s what happened when a filmmaker asked Alabamians to talk about the last photo on their phone

Ivan Cash, a filmmaker from San Francisco, California came to Alabama recently to continue a multi-part video series he calls “Last Photo.” Cash walks up to random people on the street, asks them to show him the last picture they took on their phone and films them telling the story behind it.

In the video above, Alabamians give heartfelt responses to Cash’s request, talking about family and friends they’ve lost, moments they cherished, and events they’ll never forget.
