GOP National Chair says Trump agenda has destroyed any hopes of a blue wave this November

Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said Wednesday on Fox Business that President Donald Trump’s successful agenda has stifled any chance of a blue wave this November.

“Across [California] yesterday we saw Republicans turning out in droves in six of the seven battleground House seats yesterday that Democrats were counting on to flip the House,” McDaniel said on “Lou Dobbs Tonight.” “More Republicans turned out than Democrats and the seventh one it was just by a little bit that the Democrats turned out.”

McDaniel thinks low unemployment numbers and a strong economic performance have given voters more confidence in the GOP, while Democrats lack a clear message and continue to obstruct the president’s agenda.

“That blue wave yesterday became a ripple and I’ll tell you why. Because the Trump agenda is working across this country,” McDaniel added. “Unemployment at record low. People are feeling better, wages are up and they want to see the comeback continue. And they’re not going to hand this nation over to the obstruct and resist Democrat party of no.”
