General Dynamics space warfare work assigned to Huntsville

General Dynamics Mission System of Scottsdale, Ariz., has been awarded a ceiling $17.5 million modification to a $1.1 billion Air Force contract, the Department of Defense announced.

The work, some of which will be in Huntsville, is for the proliferated warfighter space architecture, ground management and integration, and operation and sustainment efforts.

The modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $1,148,297,413 from $1,130,797,413.

Work will also be performed in Scottsdale, and Grand Forks, N.D., and is expected to be completed by the second quarter of fiscal 2027.

The Space Development Agency in Chantilly, Va., is the contracting activity.
