Gadsden Career Center hosting hiring fair

(Office of Governor Kay Ivey/Contributed, YHN)

This isn’t your father’s job fair. It’s not even your grandfather’s job fair.

It’s not even a job fair.

It’s a hiring fair with hundreds of jobs and dozens of employers on hand Thursday in Gadsden.

The Gadsden Career Center is partnering with Gadsden Mayor Craig Ford, Gadsden City Council, the Gadsden-Etowah County Chamber of Commerce, and East Alabama Works for the event. It runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Venue at Coosa Landing, 201 George Wallace Drive.

For information, contact the Gadsden Career Center at 256-546-4667 or Senior Manager Katrina Herring at 256-546-4667, ext. 85505

Applicants should be prepared to interview and dressed professionally.
