CHICAGO, Ill. — Former Birmingham Barons player Trayce Thompson of the Chicago White Sox hit the first home-run of his MLB career Tuesday night and his teammates’ reaction has the sports world cracking up.

When he returned to the dugout after his once-in-a-lifetime moment, his teammates proceeded to essentially ignore him. So Thompson did what anyone in that situation would do: he gave himself a series of invisible high-fives.

If you don’t recognize Thompson from his time with Birmingham’s Minor League Baseball franchise, you might know him as the younger brother of NBA Champion Clay Thompson, guard for the Golden State Warriors.
