Yellowhammer News has learned that the Alabama Republican Party’s steering committee ended its meeting Wednesday evening without decertifying Roy Moore, which would have voided any votes he received during next month’s election.

The 21-member committee is the main governing body within the party. It began meeting earlier this afternoon to discuss options.

It is unclear if a vote was even taken.

Additional details will be made available as they develop.
