‘Ever heard of the Heisman?’ Adorable kid has no idea he’s talking to the greatest athlete of all time

Bo Jackson is mic’d up during this year’s Chicago White Sox camp, and on Thursday he was captured on camera patiently laying out his credentials to a teenage boy, who happens to be the son of White Sox first baseman Adam LaRoche.

In 2013, ESPN named Jackson “the Greatest Athlete of All Time,” but there is apparently a new generation of kids coming up who haven’t watched YouTube highlights of the legends of decades past.

“You ever heard of the Heisman trophy?” Jackson asked politely.

To the kid’s credit, he was impressed once he found out who he was dealing with.

“That’s pretty awesome,” the young LaRoche replied after learning that Jackson was a two-sport phenom.
