(ABC Board/Contributed)

The Alabama Beverage Control (ABC) Board is hosting a sweepstakes during the month of October in which winners will have a chance to purchase highly desired liquors such as Pappy Van Winkle.

The contest is currently ongoing and ends at 5:00 p.m. on October 25. Entrants must be at least 21 years of age, and only eight stores are participating.

There will be 100 winners per store, and each individual will receive one place in line to purchase the fan-favorite whiskey.

Winners will be allowed to purchase one bottle from a table of the most desired spirits, and two bottles from a second table of liquor that is still high in demand, but not quite as much as the selection on the first table.

Those winning must be available to be at the store whose competition they entered on the morning of November 9.
