DuBose attends signing of Trump’s order banning men from women’s sports

After Governor Ivey ushered her support for State Rep. Susan DuBose’s legislation enshrining gender definitions, male and female, into Alabama law last night in her State of the State address, DuBose will be at the White House today supporting Title IX.

Today, Trump will sign an executive order banning biological men from competing in women’s sports. The order is expected to apply to colleges, K-12 schools, and other entities that receive federal funding.

“It is an honor to be included as President Trump signs an order that brings a new level of safety, fairness, and competition to women’s sports,” DuBose (R-Hoover) said. “We must reject the woke transgender agenda and return to common sense and fundamental morals and values, and President Trump’s order takes a big step in that direction.”

She is also the House sponsor of the “What is a Woman” Act that will codify precise definitions for terms such as “man,” “woman,” “male,” “female,” and others into state law and provide much needed guidance to schools, state agencies, and other taxpayer-funded entities.

DuBose successful passed legislation requiring college athletes in Alabama to compete based upon their biological sex at birth rather than their personally chosen gender, and the Independent Women’s Forum, a Virginia-based conservative non-profit dedicated to policies that promote freedom, opportunities, and well-being for women across the nation, named her a “Champion Woman” for her efforts.
