Deer on the beach? Alabama’s James Spann shares unusual sighting

(James Spann/Facebook)

Alabama’s iconic meteorologist, James Spann, has seen some wacky stuff in his 40+ years covering the weather in the state of Alabama.

From huge storms to weather disasters, to plenty of sunny days and extreme heat, Spann has seen it all in the weather world.

What he may not have seen before, however, was what he recently shared on his Facebook page from Panama City Beach, where a group of deer were spotted on the sand near the water, hanging out on the beach.

Of all the things that could happen on the beach, deer trotting along has to be fairly low on the list. Clearly, Spann’s followers thought the same, with the post receiving over 18,000 reactions, over 7,000 shares, and over 3,000 comments.

Deer on the beach will be hard to top, but surely Spann will share more craziness very soon.
