Left off the list of invites to the 2013 Value Voters Summit in Washington next month:  New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie & New York Rep. Peter King.

Newsday:

A Value Voters Summit spokesman confirmed the group did not invite King, but didn’t say why.  At least King has company: Gov. Chris Christie did not appear on the list of invited speakers either.

2016ers who were invited and have confirmed include: Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan, Rick Santorum.

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker was invited but is not a confirmed speaker according to the group’s website.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is not listed on an invite either.

The Conservative Political Action Conference — another high-profile Washington gala held in the spring — also dissed Christie earlier this year.
