Children’s of Alabama Grand Prix set for this weekend in Birmingham

It’s about to be a big weekend for motorsports in the Magic City.

The Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix, set for April 26-28, is slated to draw thousands of fans from across the state. The race is part of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and will showcase the pinnacle of open-wheel racing, drawing elite drivers from around the world.

The event, now in its 14th year, will take place at Barber Motorsports Park home to the historic Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum.

Last year’s race raised over $350,000 for Children’s of Alabama. The event is being presented by The Medical Properties Trust and is powered by AmFirst.

Country music sensation Riley Greene has been announced as the race’s Grand Marshall.

Tickets for the Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix are available for purchase now at indyalabama.com. General Admission tickets start at just $25, offering incredible value for an unforgettable weekend of racing. Children 15 and under get in free when accompanied by a ticketed adult, making this event an ideal outing for families. As the beneficiary of the event, Children’s of Alabama receives a portion of ticket proceeds.
