When KD Hill, a former Eufaula High and Ole Miss football player, got into a career ending car crash on July 21 it wasn't immediately clear if he would be able to walk again. Now, in just little over a week and after having part of one of his legs amputated, Hill has already began the process to walk again.

The world of college baseball was overshadowed this weekend when a tragic event took place at an NCAA super regional baseball game.An award winning ESPN director, Kyle Brown, 42, passed away before the Alabama- Wake Forest Super Regional game Saturday, causing the game to be delayed for two hours. The game, which was completely dominated from beginning to end by Wake Forest, ended the Tides 2023 season.
