At Thursday's Huntsville/ Madison County Chamber's sold out luncheon a bit of improvisation was required. Governor Kay Ivey, who was scheduled to speak at the event, couldn't attend due to transportation issues that led to conflicting events in her schedule. Stepping into her place on short notice was Bill Poole, finance director for the state of Alabama.

Governor Kay Ivey today, gave recognition to all twelve of Alabama’s metropolitan areas, announcing that each one had ranked among the lowest metropolitan unemployment rates in the entire country for the month of April.
