Yellowhammer to launch syndicated radio show hosted by Cliff Sims

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Yellowhammer Multimedia announced Friday that the company is launching a syndicated talk radio program in the Birmingham and Huntsville media markets, with other Alabama markets to be announced soon. The show will be hosted by Yellowhammer News founder Cliff Sims and will officially launch on Monday, March 16, 2015.

“Yellowhammer News has quickly become Alabama’s most trusted source of news and opinion content, and we’re excited to continue our rapid growth by expanding our reach into terrestrial radio,” said Ryan Boggus, Yellowhammer’s Chief Operating Officer. “Adding this new component to our large online presence will further establish Yellowhammer as the the state’s most influential media brand.”

The show, which will be titled Yellowhammer Radio with Cliff Sims, will air from noon to 1 p.m. on Superstation 101.1, WYDE. The station’s 100,000 watt signal is the largest in the state, allowing it to reach all of metro Birmingham, Huntsville and the Shoals area with clarity.

Cliff Sims is the CEO of Yellowhammer Multimedia and Editor-in-Chief of Yellowhammer News. He has been a constant guest on Alabama political talk radio in recent years, and made his national radio debut in 2015 as the guest host of the nationally syndicated Laura Ingraham Show.
