With 11 months until the 2024 election, U.S. Senator Katie Britt gave an update about her work to help to retake the Senate for Republicans.
Britt reports she’s raised more than $500,000 in an effort to do just that.
“In addition to retaking the White House in 2024, electing a Republican Senate majority is absolutely critical for America’s future,” Britt said. “It’s time to make Senator Schumer the Minority Leader again.”
Last week, on the day of the GOP presidential debate in Tuscaloosa, Britt formally made her endorsement for former President Donald Trump in 2024. In a campaign statement, Britt said she’s working up and down the ticket to deliver on a conservative agenda.
“In my first 11 months in office, I have seen firsthand how important it is that Republicans achieve a Senate majority. This will ensure that we can move a commonsense conservative agenda across the floor that puts hardworking Americans first and preserves the American Dream for generations to come,” Britt said.
“In the next 11 months, I will continue to do everything within my power to support Republican victories up-and-down the ballot. This includes making sure that good candidates have the resources needed to get their winning messages out to the public. We need to build a team of people who will work together to save the country we know and love.”
Through her leadership committee, Britt reports she contributed to each and every one of her incumbent Republican Senate colleagues running in the 2024 cycle – as well as NRSC-endorsed candidates in swing states that represent Republican pickup opportunities.

Britt is also known for treating fellow GOP Senators to their first gameday experience in Tuscaloosa.

“[U.S. Senator John] Cornyn keynoted a fundraiser for Britt in Birmingham earlier this month and the next day attended the Crimson Tide’s opener against the University of Texas before setting off to South Texas and joining a handful of other senators on a dove hunt,” POLITICO reported earlier this year.
“Now, Senate Minority Whip John Thune (R-S.D.) is due at Bryant-Denny Stadium this Saturday for the Ole Miss game.”
