A popular Birmingham restaurant has been named to Eater’s 38 Best Restaurants in America list.

Eater named Highlands Bar & Grill, a friendly Southern-French haven, to its list of 38 Best Restaurants in America, an annual guide compiled after 34 weeks of travel and almost 600 meals in 36 cities.

This is not the first time Highlands Bar & Grill, which is owned and operated by Frank and Pardis Stitt, has been recognized for its quality cuisine.

Earlier this year, Highlands Bar & Grill was chosen as most Outstanding Restaurant when it received a James Beard Award, which is considered to be among the highest in the American restaurant community. The Birmingham establishment was also named one of “The 30 Most Influential Restaurants of the Last 30 Years.”

In addition to a full dinner menu, including desserts, the restaurant also offers a large selection of wine and other beverages for guests to choose from.
