Birmingham U-Haul driver freed after 90 minutes under concrete column

Birmingham Fire and Rescue have freed a U-Haul driver who was pinned underneath a concrete column that the truck hit at a parking deck along Highland Avenue, according to a report from Stephen Quinn of ABC 33/40:

The driver was pinned under the column for a full 90 minutes before he was freed and taken to the hospital. Currently, the extent of the driver’s injuries are unknown.
