Judge Tommy Bryan Yellowhammer Politics

MONTGOMERY—The board of directors for ProgressPAC, the political action committee of the Business Council of Alabama, has endorsed Judge Tommy Bryan for the Alabama Supreme Court.

“Tommy Bryan has been both dedicated and fair throughout his career as an attorney and judge,” said ProgressPAC Chairman Carl Jamison, a shareholder at JamisonMoneyFarmer P.C.  “His conservative judicial philosophy and his commitment to following the rule of law made our decision to endorse an easy one.”

Judge Bryan is a graduate of Troy State University and a 1983 graduate of Faulkner University’s Jones School of Law.  After graduating from law school, Bryan served as a staff attorney for the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals.  In 1987, he became an assistant attorney general for the State of Alabama, serving as an associate general counsel for the Alabama Department of Environmental Management.  He was first elected to the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals in 2004 and was re-elected for a second term in 2010.
