Baldwin County man wins $2 million jackpot on scratch off in Florida

A Baldwin County man has won a $2 million jackpot from the Triple 777 Scratch-Off game, the Florida Lottery announced.

49-year-old Jeremy Smith of Lillian purchased the winning ticket from the CEFCO Convenience Store (5330 Gulf Breeze Parkway) in Gulf Breeze and chose to receive his payout in one lump-sum of of $1,280,000.00 after taxes and fees. The store also reportedly received a $4,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Included in the official release from Florida Lottery Communications stated that Florida has now awarded a total of $63.1 billion in prizes from scratch-off games.
