As reported by ABC 33/40 News, a prominent block in the Avondale neighborhood of Birmingham was sold over the weekend. Part of the sale includes Avondale Brewing Company, Post Office Pies, and Saw’s Soul Kitchen.

Orchestra Partners, the company behind the purchase, wants patrons to know that their favorite spots are not going anywhere. “Our business model is to try and re-develop tired, underutilized parts of downtown but another part of our model that we don’t ever want to forget is helping maintain things that are being re-used in the way that we see fit so helping maintain Avondale in its current form,” said Co-Founder John Boone.

Currently, the Avondale area brings in thousands of people each weekend. Whether its the food, fresh beer, or regular concerts, Avondale has established itself as a top destination in the Magic City.
