Last week, Birmingham Southern-College, a small liberal arts school located in Birmingham, Alabama, announced that all students who refused to take the COVID-19 vaccine would receive a $500 penalty. For exercising their right to medical freedom, their so-called “right to choose,” students are being targeted by college administrators and ostracized on their respective campuses.
If this is happening in ruby-red Alabama, God only knows what lies ahead. Already, according to The Chronicle of Higher Education, 578 colleges and universities are requiring their students to be vaccinated prior to their return to campus. Even powerful national organizations, like the American College Health Association, are recommending such mandates.
It’s time not just for parents to stand up to this tyranny; it’s time for students to join the fight as well, most especially student leaders on campus.

Recently, North Carolina became the seventh state in the country to ban the teaching of Critical Race Theory, following in the footsteps of states such as Idaho, Tennessee, Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona and Arkansas. Opponents have described Critical Race Theory as racist, divisive and left-wing ideology masqueraded as so-called education. And truth be told, those opponents couldn’t be more right.
Critical Race Theory, also known as CRT, perpetuates the left-wing falsehood that America is a racist nation, poisoned and made irredeemable by a history of white supremacy, institutional racism and supposed white privilege. And it places the blame for this alleged reality squarely at the feet of white people.
It is tax-payer funded anti-white racism — guised under the moniker of “anti-racism” — being taught to college students all throughout the country, and it’s time for it to stop. (more…)
This year has been filled with challenges for all of us. Ever since the U.S. was struck by an unprecedented pandemic, we have dealt with a sputtering economy, and more recently Alabama and other states near the Gulf have been hammered by coastal storms. These challenges have each forced us to be flexible and adapt to very different day-to-day lives than the ones we had grown used to.
Much like we have been finding ways to work through this crisis, so have our Census workers who have diligently worked this year to carry out their Constitutional duty to perform the once-a-decade count of American citizens. However, even with all the logistical challenges presented by the ongoing pandemic and the raging storms, Census workers recently concluded their initial count on a condensed timeline after a Supreme Court ruling determining the count could be stopped early. Now, they only have until the end of the year to formally report their findings – just two and half months, where in a normal year they would be given five. (more…)
Black lives don’t matter to Democrats. Black votes do. And even then, only in election years.
Over the past 80 years, Democrats like Senator Doug Jones have preyed on Black people, disguising themselves as some sort of savior sent to uplift our communities and pull us out of the pits of despair. They visit our churches and vow to invest in our businesses — lying to our faces and making empty promises time and again. Yet, after winning an election because of Black people, they cannot be bothered to reinvest in Black businesses, Black banks, nor Black livelihood. They can’t be bothered to actually give a damn about the people that got them there.
Even Alabama’s very own Democratic senator, Doug Jones, is a walking contradiction. After receiving 96% of the Black vote in 2017, claiming to be progressive and for Black people, Jones has failed to put his money where his mouth is and give back to the people who handed him the job in the first place. Jones is quick to commend Alabama’s Black voters and attribute his success to our critical vote, but in this cycle, Jones’ campaign has allocated over $7,824,539.36 to more than 450 entities and only 0.1% of that went to Black-owned businesses.
