Auburn fan syncs epic Christmas lights display to radio call from Iron Bowl victory

Fayetteville, Georgia resident Robert Burton isn’t one to sync his Christmas lights to the typical background music. Sure, he did “Jingle Bells” and “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” when he was first getting started, but he’s since moved on to songs that normally get identified with Christmas, like “Ghostbusters” and “Thriller.”

But this year the Burtons felt like it was time to make their team allegiance known to the world.

Backing up their most epic Christmas display yet — which includes well over 30,000 lights — the Burtons chose to sync the lights to the radio broadcast of Chris Davis’ Iron Bowl-winning return followed by the War Eagle fight song.
