Hundreds of students baptized at Auburn’s Red Barn

It was quite a sight Tuesday night at Auburn University’s Red Barn when more than 200 students were baptized within two hours of each other on the property’s pond following a “Unite Auburn” event.

The Facebook account, What’s Happening in Auburn and Opelika, posted footage of the event. On the post’s comments section many were moved by the sight of so many young people professing their faith publicly.

The student who recorded that particular video of the baptisms wrote, “Happening right now, hundreds of students just accepted Jesus as their Lord and are getting baptized at the red barn.”

Another student who attended the event also posted about it.

In a similar event in last August, several Auburn basketball players and team staff members on a trip to Israel were baptized in the Jordan River.
