ALGOP moves DeSantis event to meet demand

Due to the high demand for tickets, the Alabama Republican Party is changing the venue for its upcoming Winter Dinner featuring special guest Governor Ron DeSantis.

The March 9th dinner has been moved from the Birmingham Sheraton Hotel to the nearby Finley Center in Hoover to accommodate a larger crowd.

The decision to relocate the ALGOP Winter Dinner came after ticket sales exceeded expectations, and it became apparent that the venue would be completely sold out less than two weeks after ticket sales opened. General admission tickets are now back on sale after being shut down for several days.

“We have been blown away by the response we’ve received since announcing this year’s Winter Dinner, and I am extremely excited we have been able to find a way to include more guests for this historic event. We want to give as many people as possible the opportunity to hear Governor DeSantis’s common sense conservative message and be a part of his visit to Alabama,” said Alabama Republican Party Chairman John Wahl.

Tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis. Anyone interested in attending this event is strongly encouraged to purchase their tickets immediately. Party organizers cannot guarantee how long tickets and sponsorships will last. They can be purchased on the ALGOP website: www.algop.org.

“The Alabama Republican Party would like to thank Hoover city leaders and staff for their assistance in making this transition possible. We also would like to thank the Birmingham Sheraton for their assistance. We look forward to joining them for other events in the future,” said Chairman Wahl.
