The Alabama Retail Association’s federal political action committee this week announced endorsements in four Alabama congressional races and the state’s U.S. Senate race ahead of the November 3 general election.

In the most closely watched race of Alabama’s federal races, the Retail Association is backing Republican nominee Tommy Tuberville over incumbent U.S. Senator Doug Jones (D-AL).

In the two open U.S. House races, the association endorsed Mobile County Commissioner Jerry Carl in AL-01 and former State Rep. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise) in AL-02.

Additionally, the Alabama Retail Association announced their support of Congressmen Mike Rogers’ (AL-03) and Robert Aderholt’s (AL-04) respective reelection bids. Endorsements were not announced in the remaining three congressional districts.

“The Alabama Retail Association believes these candidates understand retailers and will give retailers’ interests a fair hearing,” stated Alabama Retail chairman Todd Noden.

“We are confident these candidates are the best choices for these positions,” added Alabama Retail president Rick Brown.
