Alabama lawmakers could re-draw congressional districts to add more GOP seats before 2026 election

After decades of federally controlled redistricting in some states, the Supreme Court is ready to blow up that process.

When and if that happens, the Alabama Legislature is prepared to blow up the current court-imposed maps and replace two safe Democrat congressional districts with Republican-leaning districts.

Elections have consequences.
