In her end-of-the-year address to Alabamians, Gov. Kay Ivey reaffirmed the unprecedented nature of 2020 while expressing optimism for 2021.

“Throughout it all, with everyone’s help, our state has found a way to keep pushing forward,” Ivey said.

The governor quoted Isaiah 40:31: “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.”
