ALABAMA EATS: All Hail the Wing King

All hail the Ruler of the Rotisserie, Sovereign of the Sweet Sauce, Caesar of the Celery Sticks, Baron of the Barbecue… Ladies and gentlemen, it’s the Pride of Pelham, Ala. — the Wing King.

Alabama Eats host AJ Johnson went down to Pelham this week to find out what makes this local favorite one of the best wing joints in the state.

“How did you come up with all these wing flavors?” AJ asked Tiffany Bisaot, owner of Wing King.

“My husband and I sat down together before we opened and created them and mixed them together,” Bisaot explained. “Some we liked, some we didn’t. The ones we liked made the list.”

AJ loaded up two baskets full of wings with flavors ranging from caribbean jerk and mild to salt & vinegar and, our favorite, the Yellowhammer!
