Alabama-based Rightside Media highlights growth, announces new video podcast series

In 2021, former Alabama State Sen. Phil Williams launched his landmark radio program, “Rightside Radio” as a three-hour afternoon news-talk radio show across North Alabama AM and FM stations. Since that time, Williams has brought together an insider’s knowledge of Montgomery with newsmakers and commentators under the banner “solid, conservative, and just plain right” as he expanded the format to include video and livestreaming. Along with an expansion of format came an expansion of the program’s daily audience.

On Monday, Rightside Media, the parent company of Rightside Radio, announced a new line of video podcasts, ‘The Right Phil-osophy’, launching first, with two additional series expected to roll out in the coming weeks.

“From the moment we formed Rightside Media the goal has been to bring quality conservative input to the general public.” Said Phil Williams, President of Rightside and host of the daily broadcast.

“The live daily show began nearly three years ago and quickly took off to become a daily regional event. The growth of Rightside and its message is reaching its next phase now with the addition of several streaming audio and video podcasts. We are super excited to take this new step forward!”

Beginning as a syndicated live radio broadcast from 2-5pm across multiple AM and FM outlets across the state, Rightside Radio quickly gained a strong following with audiences in north Alabama, and parts of Georgia, Tennessee and Mississippi.

“The first four episodes of ‘The Right Phil-osophy’ are up now and hosted on various platforms as well as our website at www.rightsideradio.org. We are having the best time doing this,” Williams said.

Phil Williams is a former Alabama State Senator, an Army Ranger with tours in Iraq and Afghanistan who retired with the rank of Colonel, and a practicing Attorney.
