Ala. high school cheerleaders brawl after state championship game

Mountain Brook High School’s boys basketball team won its second consecutive Alabama Class 6A state championship Friday night by defeating Blount High School at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex Areana in Birmingham, Ala.

But as hard as the boys fought on the court in Mountain Brook’s 60-57 victory, it paled in comparison to the throwdown that took place after the game between a group of girls.

An argument outside the arena ended in Blount High School’s cheerleaders apparently getting in a fight with themselves.

A cell phone video taken by a passerby can be seen above. It is unclear at this point what caused the fight or what disciplinary action may be taken.
